Ryan S. Shymansky

Ryan joined Marcus & Shapira in 2024, leveraging years of experience across three clerkships and two years of practice at an international law firm to provide top-notch service to his clients.

Before joining the firm, Ryan completed a yearlong clerkship with Judge D. Michael Fisher on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. In prior years, Ryan also clerked for Judge Robert C. Chambers on the Southern District of West Virginia and Judge Nina Y. Wang on the District of Colorado. Ryan’s clerkships provide him with a broad command of litigation strategy and method in federal trial and appellate courts.

Ryan’s experience includes withdrawal liability, labor and employment disputes ranging from single-plaintiff arbitrations to industry-wide labor negotiations, employment counseling, and internal employment investigations.

Ryan is a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Georgetown University, where he obtained a degree in Government. He earned his law degree from Georgetown as well, where he served as student body President and Editor-in-Chief of the American Criminal Law Review.
