Leland P. Schermer

Leland P. Schermer has litigated all forms of intellectual property, technology and business disputes in state and federal courts across the nation. He has been lead counsel in over 60 intellectual property disputes in his career, including a Multi-District Litigation involving 26 patent infringement cases concerning fintech encryption technology for mobile phones. He worked on Polaroid v. Kodak, the first billion-dollar patent case, as a young lawyer. He has also drafted numerous agreements in a wide variety of fields, including licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, research and development agreements; employment agreements; and commercial agreements.
